What: Don't make me feel that [ Neutral Neutral ]
When: Day 121
Game: Heart
What Happens:
This is a childhood memory. Little cuties all around.
-Water feelings/bonding. ("The water is alive. Once you dive in, it will immediately bare its fangs and attack. But there's nothing to fear. Don't resist the water. Thrust your fingers into the surface and carve an opening. Then you slide your body through that opening. Moving your arms, your head, your chest...
-Some little jackass (Rin) jumps into the water next to him and issues and unspoken challenge pushing him to race
-Wins this mini-race
-Little Makoto helps him out of the water, calls him Haru-chan ("Stop calling me -chan already.")
-Another kid there admiring his swimming (Nagisa)
-Asked about his time, but states he doesn't care
-Turns down the offer to do relay with Rin ("I only do freestyle") and jumps back in
-More water feelings. ("That's right, I don't care about swimming faster times. All I want is to feel the water. With my skin, my eyes, my soul... To never doubt what it makes me feel. Believe in myself. Don't resist the water. Welcome it. We accept one another.")
What It Means For Him:
Water feelings intensify. Or settle more properly. It solidifies what he felt before and reaffirms to him that, yes, water is a part of him. Also, he has unsettled feelings from that challenge in the water. It sparks something in him, something he can't place and it doesn't settle right. It's a feeling he didn't want and it annoys him that this dumb redhead made him feel it.
It also means that he'll a little more tsun toward people that he actually is starting to consider "friends"/teammates. Or if they try to challenge him, either deliberately or unintentionally.
